Our Terms & Conditions for Ordering, Payment, Delivery, And Our Product Guarantee
Placing and Accepting Orders
Once we receive your order request we will email you an Order Confirmation to confirm the details of your offer. The order confirmation will also include the total cost of goods ordered, including the delivery cost to your location, as well as information on making payment for your order.
Please note that our Order Confirmation does not constitute an acceptance of your offer or reflect the status of your order in any way. Your offer will be accepted and your order despatched once Sunset Mallee Olives is satisfied with the legitimacy of the order and payment in full has been received.
Delivery
It is your obligation to provide us with the correct delivery address details at the time of ordering. Should you provide the wrong address, we are not obliged to re-send the order to the correct address at our expense.
We deliver using Australia Post Registered Parcel Post with insurance. Delivery charges are directly from Australia Post for the weight of the parcel. We include Handling in the postage price.
All goods delivered by Sunset Mallee Olives are covered by insurance, however please note if an item has been lost in transit we are not obligated to and may not despatch a replacement item immediately. Replacement items will be despatched within 2 - 5 days.
We require that, where possible, the recipient signs for the delivery. You agree that in doing so we have delivered the order within the terms of the agreement between you and us. You agree that when our courier partner is satisfied that the order has been delivered, delivery of the order has taken place within the terms of the agreement between you and us.
Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right not to provide goods or services, remove or edit content or cancel orders at our sole discretion at any time. Without limiting the operation of any other Terms and Conditions herein, we will not be held liable for loss or damage arising from the exercising of these rights.
Cancellation by You
If you need to cancel an order, please contact our Customer Service team immediately. Our agreement with you only comes into effect once we have confirmed your order and your payment has been processed. If your products have not yet been despatched from our premises at the time of your cancellation request we will accept your request and refund your money in full.
Orders that have been despatched prior to your cancellation request will be subject to our terms, conditions and policies relating to Returns and Exchanges.
Without limiting the operation of any other Terms and Conditions herein, we will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from a late delivery. You agree that late delivery does not constitute a failure of our agreement, and does not entitle you to cancellation of an order. We will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from items lost, stolen or damaged after delivery has taken place.
Goods Damaged or Faulty on Delivery, Returns and Exchanges
Sunset Mallee Olives main priority is your satisfaction. If you receive products that are damaged or faulty, we will happily organise an exchange for you. You must contact us and inform us of the condition of the goods, organise to return, and return the damaged goods within 14 days of receipt.
At the time of despatch we guarantee that our Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Olive products are all of the following:
- comply to International Olive Oil Council standards for which they are labelled
- are 100% Australian grown, produced, and packaged
- are of equal quality and taste regardless of the size, volume or shape of the packaging they are offered in
- meet the required Australian food standards code
- the packaging is not damaged and is of usable quality
In the event that you receive a defective or damaged product, we will despatch you a replacement item (subject to availability) once we receive the return, at our cost. We will refund you the delivery cost for the return of the product, to our premises, once we are satisfied that the products are defective.
Please note that all products that are found to be non-defective will incur the delivery costs of returning the item to Sunset Mallee Olives.
Sunset Mallee Olives currently accepts the following method of payment :
Bank Deposit or EFT
Our bank account details will be forwarded to you when we confirm your order via email.
Please note that some electronic transfers can take up to three working days to process which may delay your order.
Physically visiting your nearest Commonwealth Bank branch and depositing the funds into our account is the quickest method of
payment as funds clear immediately. Keep this in mind if you require
prompt delivery.
Credit Card
We are not directly accepting credit card payments at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you still wish to pay for goods ordered from us with your credit card you can do so securely via PayPal.
PayPal
We accept PayPal payments. Our PayPal email address will be forwarded to you when we confirm your order via your preferred contact method.

International Customers
We do not accept international orders at this time. Orders outside Australia will not be processed.
