Sunset Mallee Olives produces premium Australian olive oil and kalamata olives. The olive orchard is located 2.5 hours drive from Adelaide in the far western mallee region of Victoria.
Olive trees planted consist of proven European cultivars including Frantoio, Picual, Koroneiki, Coratina and Arbequina oil producing varieties and Kalamata table olive varieties.
The mallee region has red sandy loam soils and a Mediterranean style climate perfectly suited to growing olives. The region also supports other irrigated agriculture due to an abundance of fresh groundwater which is part of the Murray Darling Basin.
Our premium first cold-pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced exclusively from olives grown on our estate and complies to strict IOC International Olive Council standards for extra virgin olive oil.
