Sunset Mallee Olives is an Australian owned business producing premium Australian olive oil and table olives. The olive plantation is located 2.5 hours drive from Adelaide in the north-western mallee region of Victoria.
Olive plantings consist of proven European cultivars, mainly Frantoio, Koroneiki, Picual and Arbequina oil producing varieties and Kalamata table olive varieties.
The region has fertile red sandy loam soils and a Mediterranean type climate well suited to growing olives, and also supports other irrigated agriculture such as pistachios, potatoes and other vegetables.
Sunset Mallee Olives™ brand cold pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) is produced exclusively from quality Australian grown olives and is guaranteed 100% extra virgin. Compliance is to IOC (International Olive Council) standards for EVOO.
